Used mainly for wind turbines 3- phase networks at the generator and convertor.
This type contain 2 MOV modules DSM40-1000/WD in series, mainly used in 400/690Vac power system but with higher withstand capacity for harmonic oscillation which means can withstand the peak amplitude up to 1800V(kHz), this module based on MOV technology to realize protcetion for harmonic interference which mainly appeared in wind turbines.
This surge protectors are designed to be used in a multipolar configuration to protect 3-phase AC networks.
